About Piston Compressor Oils
Reciprocating, or piston, compressors lubricate a crankshaft, connecting rods, bearings, and other moving pump components through repeated compression cycles. Selecting the correct oil helps manage wear and operating heat while supporting the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
Start with the pump specification
Shop this collection by part number and package size, then verify the viscosity, fluid type, and service requirements for your pump. Mineral and synthetic products are not automatically interchangeable, and a rotary compressor oil should not be used in a piston pump unless the manufacturer’s specification allows it.
Have a pump model or an older lubricant number but no clear match? Ask our parts team and include the make, model, serial number, and current oil information so we can help identify the right option.
