Rotary vane compressors use a sliding vane assembly that depends on the correct lubricant for wear protection, heat control, and reliable sealing. The oil must suit the equipment’s operating conditions and the way the machine handles air or vacuum; a fluid intended for a rotary screw compressor is not automatically a substitute.

Where a machine serves a vacuum application, confirm its oil requirements separately rather than choosing by compressor type alone.
