About Solenoids & Controls

Inlet Solenoids, Drains & Compressor Controls

Inlet solenoids and control components regulate how a compressor starts, loads, unloads, and responds to changing system pressure. A worn valve, damaged coil, or faulty control can cause hard starting, air leakage, improper cycling, or a compressor that fails to build pressure correctly.

Condensate drains remove accumulated moisture and oil from receivers, filters, aftercoolers, dryers, and other low points in the system. A blocked drain can allow moisture to travel downstream, while a drain that remains open can continuously waste compressed air.

These components may be small, but they are essential to reliable compressor operation. Inspecting and replacing failed solenoids, drains, switches, sensors, timers, and related controls can reduce air loss, improve moisture removal, and help prevent unnecessary shutdowns.
