About Wear Kits

Air Compressor Wear Kits

Wear kits contain the service components needed to rebuild major compressor valves and operating assemblies. Depending on the application, a kit may include seals, O-rings, springs, diaphragms, pistons, gaskets, and other internal parts that wear during normal compressor operation.

These kits are commonly used to rebuild inlet valves, minimum-pressure valves (MPVs), thermostatic valves, condensate drains, blowdown assemblies, check valves, and related components. Rebuilding a serviceable assembly can restore proper loading, unloading, oil-temperature control, pressure retention, and condensate removal without replacing the complete component.

Wear-kit contents and internal designs can vary by compressor model, serial-number range, and component revision. Each assembly should be inspected for damage before rebuilding, and all parts should be installed according to the compressor manufacturer’s service procedures and specifications.
