Pipe size and outlet size are different
A fitting described as 25 mm with a 1/2-inch NPT outlet accepts 25 mm PPS pipe and provides a separate threaded connection. A 40-to-25 mm reducer connects those two pipe diameters; it is listed on both size pages.
Choose pipe diameter using the required airflow and acceptable pressure loss. Check the pressure, temperature and installation requirements for the complete system.
