Champion low-oil switch conversions
Identify the installed control before replacing an older low-oil shutdown switch. Use the pump designation, switch style and actual control voltage to choose the appropriate conversion reference.
Match the installed low-oil control style, pump designation and control voltage before choosing a kit. Dates identify source ranges and are not a substitute for checking the installed equipment. Check the control panel and transformer; a later build date does not establish a 115 V control circuit. Parts links search the catalog for that literal reference.
Install an oil monitor on a pump without one
Retrofit the older red-reset-button LOSC
Compressor built before December 1, 2004 with the red reset button switch. Match exact pump designation and HU/automatic tank drain configuration.

Compressor built between December 1, 2004 and May 23, 2016 with crushed-ring-style LOSC; source names basic NEMA 1 and NEMA 4 controls. Confirm installed style and electrical configuration.

Replace O-ring-style LOSC
Compressor shipped after May 23, 2016 with O-ring-style LOSC. Confirm the installed electrical configuration; the separate 115 V panel rule applies when that panel is present.

Control panel has 115 V control voltage/transformer. Source states units began shipping with this configuration in February 2018. Confirm the actual panel/control voltage before choosing this kit.

The September 2018 conversion sheet lists one 2009222 O-ring in this kit. Quantities in a complete LOSC assembly drawing describe that assembly and must be checked separately.
At the May 23, 2016 transition, confirm the installed switch style. The older range refers to manufacture and the later range refers to shipment. Current supersessions and kit availability require manufacturer verification.
